Accessibility statement

Last updated: October 2026

ShadowNumber is committed to equal service for all users, including people with disabilities. The website follows the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and Israeli Standard 5568, at conformance level AA of WCAG 2.1.

What we did

Full keyboard navigation, with a clear focus indicator and a 'Skip to content' link at the top of every page.

Headings, field labels and text descriptions of images, so screen readers read the page correctly.

AA colour contrast, and dark mode following your device settings.

The app animations stop when they're off screen, have a pause button, and don't move at all when your device is set to reduce motion.

The videos in the guides never start on their own, and their narration comes with captions of exactly what it says.

Text can be enlarged to 200% without losing content, and the layout fits phones.

Hebrew and Arabic right to left, with phone numbers, codes and prices always left to right.

Known limitations

The app screenshots and animations are images; their important content also appears as text on the page.

If you find something that isn't accessible, please tell us and we'll fix it.

Physical accessibility

ShadowNumber has no public reception at the moment; the service is provided in the app and on the website.

Real calls. Real SMS.

Cellular calls

Calls to the number ring on your phone's regular line in cellular quality, and outgoing calls go out through your phone's own dialer. You don't need internet to talk, and any phone can call the number.

SMS

Real text messages: any phone can text the number, and you can text any phone in Israel from it. Not an in-app chat.

Calling over Wi‑Fi is just an option, for when you have no reception.
