Get a number

You get a new number in the app: when you first sign up, or any time from the Lines tab.

Step by step

  1. Signing up: tap Get a number, then type your real mobile number and the 6-digit code we send by SMS. Already signed in? On Lines, tap Add a number.
  2. On Choose your number, pick Mobile 05X or Landline 07X.
  3. Type digits you like in Search digits, or pick one from the list. The number is held for you for 10 minutes.
  4. Continue with the number you picked and choose a plan – or the free trial, when you first sign up.
  5. The number goes live right away. We don't ask for an ID.

Good to know

  • Free trial: 10 minutes of calls or 7 days, whichever comes first, and up to 10 SMS. One trial per phone number.
  • Israeli numbers only, through our licensed partner operator.

Cellular calls

Calls to the number ring on your phone's regular line in cellular quality, and outgoing calls go out through your phone's own dialer. You don't need internet to talk, and any phone can call the number.

SMS

Real text messages: any phone can text the number, and you can text any phone in Israel from it. Not an in-app chat.

Calling over Wi‑Fi is just an option, for when you have no reception.
