Lines and where they ring

Each number is a line with its own settings. The most important one: where it rings.

Step by step

Open Lines and tap the line.
Under Rings on, choose SIM: the call rings as a normal cellular call, even without internet.
App: the call rings in the app, over Wi‑Fi or mobile data.
Both: it rings on both, and whichever you answer first takes the call.

Good to know

On the same screen: Hide my number on outgoing calls, Block calls with no caller ID and Block a number.
A call that rings on your SIM uses your phone's own ringtone and Do Not Disturb.

Cellular calls

Calls to the number ring on your phone's regular line in cellular quality, and outgoing calls go out through your phone's own dialer. You don't need internet to talk, and any phone can call the number.

SMS

Real text messages: any phone can text the number, and you can text any phone in Israel from it. Not an in-app chat.

Calling over Wi‑Fi is just an option, for when you have no reception.
